Sugar a film by John Palmer where Brendan plays Butch. The film premiered at Toronto InsideOut Lesbian and Gay Film and Video Festival on May 22, 2004 and was screened at the following festivals: New York Lesbian and Gay Film Festival on June 6, 2004, Rio de Janeiro International Film Festival on September 30, 2005 and Paris Gay and Lesbian Film Festival on October 22, 2005. The film was released on DVD in the US on November 16, 2004.

Childstar a film by Don McKellar where Brendan plays Chip. The film premiered at the Toronto Film Festival on September 10, 2004. The film was shown at the following festivals: Calgary Film Festival on September 24, 2004, South by Southwest Film Festival on March 14, 2005 and Melbourne International Film Festival on July 31 2005. The film was released on DVD on September 13, 2005

a film by Pat Holden where Brendan plays Ed Waxman. The film has been released in a number of countries including Spain, Turkey, Belgium, Singapore, Israel and Russia. The film has been released on DVD in Finland and Hungary. The film is scheduled for a US release, a date has not been announced.

The Fifth Patient a film by Amir Man where Brendan plays Vince Gallow. According to IMBd the film is in Post Production.

The Comeback Season a film by Bruce McCulloch where Brendan plays Paul. The film premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival on April 30, 2006.

CSI: Miami Brendan joined the CBS series created by Anthony E. Zuiker
Ann Donahue and Carol Mendelsohn in the fall of 2005 playing Dan Cooper a recurring character that is coming back for the 2006/2007 season.

Brendan was nominated for Best Supporting Acton at the Canadian Genie Awards in 2005 for his performance of 'Butch' in 'Sugar'.

Donate Life Auction in March 2006, Brendan donated two autographed posters that were created for the auction from private photos of Brendan taken during the filming of 'Biker Boyz' for The Coalition on Donation (Donate Life).

Brendan announced his engagement to Jennifer Rollin in June 2006.
