BELGIUM

I read on Around the world update (05.22.02) that Roswell Season 3 will be probably on air after the summer. That is probably right but only for a part of the country.
In Belgium, people speak two differents langage. In the North, they speak dutch and in the South we speak french. So we have different TV Network on North and South. So, Roswell Season 3 will probably on air after the summer in the North.
Here, in the South, a TV Network called CLUB RTL have already begin to air Season 3. But now, we have a very big problem. I don't know if you know this, but in Europe every shows, I mean, english or american shows, are dubbed (I am not sure that is the correct word). A team of actors record voices in French (or German, Spanish,...) so we could watch our favourite shows in our own langage. Personaly, I don't like this, I prefer watch Roswell or other shows in english with subtitles. But I don't really need subtitles anyway.
Last week, CLUB RTL announce that they gonna stop to air Roswell right after episode #312 Ch-Ch-Changes because they don't have no more dubbed episodes for now. So, that's it. No Roswell anymore til they have dubbed the last 6 episodes. But this is only what they say. We don't really know if they gonna do what they said. It would be not the first time they stop to air a show before the end and not air the rest of the season.
I think this is really disgusting. I wrote to the network (contenuclub@rtl.be) but I did not receive any reply. I think we will not see Roswell back on air before september or october maybe, if we've ever seen Roswell back on air. Even in French, I don't find words to describe how angry and disappointed I am. If some of you want to send e-mail to this network and explain how digusting you find the way they treat us, Roswell fans, it will be very nice. Perhaps, it will make them react and air the last 6 episodes as soon as possible

In the french part of Belgium Roswell Season 3 is already airing friday night on Club RTL,
now it is stopped.
but the 6 remaining episodes will be aired as soon as they have them in french ...

ENGLAND

I'm not sure if you know this news, I know Sky hadn't decided about 2 or 3 weeks ago. However they now have an airdate for season 3 Roswell for here in the UK.

The date is: Thursday 6 June 2002, at 8pm. It takes over form Buffy which finishes its sixth season the week before.

UK Terrestrial TV Campaign 2002

I received confirmation from the BBC today that they indeed have not purchased Roswell 's third and final season. Sky1 will be showing the series in June, but terrestrial-television-only viewers are obviously upset that there are no current plans for them to be able to see Roswell .

So "Save Roswell UK " has launched some new campaigns. After emailing channel 5, I received a reply that by no means suggested Roswell was out of the question for them. Today I wrote the letter that informs them of the start of our campaigns and requests the third season to be shown by them.

ALL fans of Roswell can help us by signing our Roswell5 petition - you don't have to be in Britain (or really have any intention of watching the show - just please help!). In Mexico Roswell is aired every saturday at 6:00 pm on Fox channel. I´m glad to tell you that we are watching season three and it´s now on the espisode "A tale of two parties".

I hope that next year we´ll be watching 4th season.

in the philippines, roswell on cable finished airing season 1 on star world about a month ago. its on hiatus now for buffy s5. on local television, it was slated to begin airing season 3 on 4-17, but instead continued on with reruns of season 2. if they keep on their reruns, season 3 should begin on 7-17.

other countries, I could see that it didn't refer to Portugal,
where I am from, and if it's useful to you, I can tell you that
here, the 1st season is ending... as we are having problems
with the chanel that has the rights for the serie, I just don't
know if it will continue... I hope so, because I'm very curious
about next episodes... especially because I almost know
everything about them, thanks to the information on
crashdown.com ...

roswell is aired every Thursday at 11:00 pm, on RTP2 (it's the
chanel)... it's not at the best hour, but unfortunately, the
serie isn't already very successful (I just don't understand
how that is possible... )

SOUTH AFRICA

I'm writing from South-Africa (hope you know where that is) and I was just reading what is going on around the world with Roswell. Here is SA this week we saw Change, the episode in the third season. We're behind, but we still enjoy it!

note that you don't have a report from my country: South Africa. Our local satellite TV have been very good about bringing us ROSWELL and we are more than half way through the third series: last week we viewed Ch-ch-Changes so we have about six weeks to go before we have to go into mourning. We have also had re-runs of series one and two: we're hoping that series 3 will also be given another airing. I'd like to thank M-Net for obliging the Roswell fans to promptly.

SPAIN

Well, I want you to know the situation here in Spain. One spanish satellite
television, called "Factoría de Ficción", aired last November the first
season, one episode by day (no weekends) without no kind of promotion or
information about the show, and the success was incredible. So this February
they aired the second season, with the same success, and all of the spanish
fans are emailing them for asking when the third season will be aired, but
they've not brought yet the rights and haven't dubbed it, so they think it
will be aired near September; they don't know when exactly, but they assured
us they will do it, because Roswell is, probably, the most succesfull show
on their history, and note this channel airs ONLY series like this.
