Welcome to Meghan, and the Roswell Elitest Awards site, which has become the newest affiliate of crashdown.com The site is the oldest Roswell awards site on the net, and has always done a great job of recognizing the talent that goes into the many many Roswell fan sites on the net. The main benefit of this arrangement between the two sites is that crashdown.com members will now know what sites are nominated, and what sites win the Elitest awards, and will have an opportunity to vote and participate.Here is the description that Meghan wrote about her site:
"The Roswell Elitest Awards (REA for short) were created on July 14, 2000 making it the first Roswell awards site. REA was created to reward the amazing webmasters who own and operate Roswell websites. Their dedication and hard work needed to be recognized. The way the awards work is that every round nominations start. Anyone can nominate any Roswell site (or Roswell related). After a certain time, voting starts. During voting, visitors use an easy form to vote for their favorite sites in the categories that sites were nominated in. After voting, the winners are posted and announced on the site.
Since the site opened a year and a half ago, we've expanded countless times. REA now offers a website certification, webmaster awards, and the special Fan to Fan Award. We also offer small cliqueish things for visitors to take part in. We also have other things to fill out and participate in, like a Question of the Week. I'll end with a small quote for a form filled out by a visitor: "Your site is like an intitution in the Roswell web.
