The Coming Attraction
Colin Hanks, son of Tom Hanks, plays a straight-A student who dreams of attending Stanford University. But his hopes are dashed when his ditzy guidance counselor (Lily Tomlin) accidentally sends the wrong transcripts to the prestigious school. He tries inviting a member of the Board of Trustees to his house for a family dinner, but his drunken mother (Catherine O'Hara) and brother (Jack Black) ruin his chances at admission again.

Our Prediction
Colin Hanks is the spittin' image of his daddy, which may ultimately hurt his career more than help it. Sure, Tom Hanks is great, but does the world really need two? "Orange County" does have plenty of promise, though. Director Jake Kasdan, son of director Lawrence Kasdan, got his career off to an auspicious start with 1998's wry "Zero Effect." And any film that boasts cameos from the likes of Chevy Chase and Ben Stiller is definitely worth a look.
