i don't know if you want to post this, but i just saw a
review for Dido in a small magazine in Sydney, Australia. The
magazine is called "City Weekly", and it's a very favourable review.
btw, "no angel" is HMV's album of the week. :)

"No Angel", Dido
(BMG)

She has appeared on several Faithless songs in the past, but not Dido
has released her debut album that is certain to chart success in
Australia. Leading from the hit "Thank You", which appeared in the
Gwyneth Paltrow film "Sliding Doors", the album is first rate.

From electric vibes to mellow lyrics and rhythmic beats, No Angel is
a concoction of several different styles of rock.

The album leads well with the electric track "Here With Me" that
carries very smooth lyrics. From there the album continues to gather
momentum. "Hunter" remains uptempo, while "My Lover's Gone" is soft
and mellow.

Dido does well to change styles but also keep them in tandem. While
the tempo is electric from the outset, once the rhythm changes, the
songs stick together. "All You Want", "Thank You" and "Honestly OK"
are all great examples of this.

While there's a bonus track, the true final song, "My Life" does
bring No Angel to a great close.

Overall, this would be a great album to play while sipping on a
cappuccino or a couple of nice chardonnays. It's very smooth.

Dido's Album has just entered at number 17 in the New Zealand charts, and
the single "Thankyou" has gone up to number 8, also "Stan" with Eminem has
entered at 14. Also I heard on the radio that her next release in NZ is
"Here with me"

Just to let everyone know, on www.mtv.com, number one under "MOST WANTED VIDEOS" is "Stan" (by Eminem featuring DIDO). If you click it, the clip is where the car is sinking in the river or lake and you can hear Dido sing the whole chorus and Eminem only says "Dear Stan, I meant to write you sooner but I'm busy" before it cuts of, meaning Dido has the most memorable part of it all!!!!
